When using a bumper mounted ball on any model, the trailer weight is limited to 3,500 lb (1,588 kg), 30 ft2 (2.79 m2) frontal area, and 350 lbs (159 kg) tongue weight.
Every rating assumes a 150-lb driver and passenger and no other cargo. Add people, gear or accessories and the trailer you can tow goes down by the same amount.
